Weight/Measurements: Don't know, Don't care
Just kidding, I do care. But I'm taking this week off of knowing either my measurements or my weight, and focusing on how I feel.
I feel like I'm getting healthier, even if the scale last week didn't reflect the weight loss I wanted (grr). I can do more, I don't get winded as easily, and in general I have more energy. I wore my khaki capris again today (even though it's a bit cold for them) just to remind myself that these fit now, when they were nowhere near fitting when I packed them.
We plan to weigh in again on Friday, so we'll see if this time the scale gives me a number I like. Until then, and after then, I'll keep focusing on how I feel and getting fit - being able to walk more, do more push-ups, longer yoga sessions, etc. Ultimately this journey isn't just about a number on the scale but about my quality of life, and I do feel like that is improving.
