Peggy's Pizza: Part 18 of 2023

Submitted by Bethany on Mon, 05/22/2023 - 14:18

I found an interesting photo this week in my genealogy research. I am working on my paternal side and happened to go down a ‘rabbit hole’ on Ancestry.com.

In the ‘rabbit hole’ I found a photo of my paternal grandfather’s maternal grandparents. I gasped as I saw my brother in the photo. Of course, I had to do a split screen of the two together.

And here is the full picture of my 2nd great grandparents.

Matthew has been so busy with Link activities. On Saturday he went to a Geode mine in Missouri. He had fun digging in the dirt. Here is a pic of his finds. We need to break one open to see what color it is.

We did find one day to cook…

Wednesday in the Kitchen with Matthew: Teriyaki Meatball Sliders and Cole Slaw.

Friday Pieday: Pizza alla Diavola (or Devil Pizza) in Italian cooking, is a whimsical term meant to evoke images of hellfire…a Neopolitan crust topped with a spicy sauce, fresh grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, spicy salami, pickled hot peppers, black olives. fresh mozzarella then served with a drizzle of hot honey.

Sunday’s Creation: A Supreme Ranch Pizza…our pan crust stretched thin then topped with pizza ranch dressing, parmesan, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives, red onion and fresh mozzarella.

We did have a Sunday visitor…

Till next week!
