In the name of trying to take things a little easier sometimes, we made time to watch two movies today. Thank goodness for Netflix and Hulu with their endless entertainment options.
First up was a Netflix original movie, "True Memoirs of an International Assassin." It starred Kevin James, Andy Garcia, and some other notable people, and it was hilarious. A tad bit predictable, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
After a quick hot tub break, we settled in for the second movie, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot." The other day when we saw it starred Tina Fey, we assumed it was a comedy, but it is actually a serious movie based on the true-life story of reporter Kim Baker. The movie was well written, well acted, and engaging. It takes place in Afghanistan, and I felt tension the whole time, knowing that at any moment people could die. I loved it and it is one I wouldn't mind seeing again someday.
I recommend both if you're looking for something to watch!
XOXO, Bethany
