Some people just love animated movies. The plot, the characters, the writing, as long as it's a fun jaunt, the movie is wonderful! I am not one of those people. I don't care if it's live action or animated, I judge movies the same. I want interesting characters, a good story, and as few plot holes as possible. This was the Grown Ups 2 of animated movies.

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation tells the story of a group of monsters who will do anything to cash in on the success of a franchise. They start with a decent idea that gets some success and then they give up on writing and directing to make as much money on the name as possible before people just stop going to see the next iteration. Conflict arises when the viewers realize they're watching a terrible movie and wasted their time and money.

People might enjoy the animated style of the movie, but don't be fooled. There is far too much conflict between the characters and the audience. This is an awful movie with almost no redeeming value. It's seriously stupid with a contrived plot and predictable everything. Watch the preview since it gives away the entire movie. Skip this.
