Oh, man! On the edge of your seat the WHOLE MOVIE! It's not really that scary, just really suspenseful. I love that the characters are actually smart in this movie, too. They think ahead, plan ahead. It makes sense that they have survived so long. I think the writers (Krazinsky and company) really thought it out, which I appreciate. If you liked Silence of the Lambs, I think you'll like this movie. They're different, but the same kind of scary, in my opinion.

A Quiet Place tells the story of a family surviving after a creature arrives that hunts us. They hunt by sound, so you have to stay as quiet as possible. They live on a farm and have to survive as best as they can in their environment without alerting the creatures to their existence. Emily Blunt is just perfect in the movie. The rest did a fine job, but Blunt is really the best part.

It's seriously so good, guys! It's tense and dramatic and romantic and ... it's just really an experience you don't want to miss. It's a very, very quiet movie, though. Our theater was just silent for most of the movie. You can hear popcorn chewing or whispering or anything throughout most of the movie, so be prepared for that. But we usually have talkers in our theater (they're the WORST), but we were either lucky, or the movie was so intense, you couldn't talk through it. So good!
