I was so excited for this movie and I really enjoyed it. They pack a TON into this one movie, so it's definitely for fans. If you've never seen a Marvel movie before, it will probably just be too much. For fans who understand all the characters, I had to give a bit off, though. If you've seen all the movies, the characters could have used some powers a bit more effectively. Wakanda, for example, was shown to have much better tech than they used in the movie, which was weird. I'm sure that continuity has to be a herculean task, but still, it was slightly disappointing. But only slightly... cuz WOW!

Avengers: Infinity War is the ultimate ensemble movie. It's got most of the Avengers (where are you Hawkeye?!) and most of the other big players in the universe (where are you Ant-Man?!). It's got the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spiderman, Black Panther, Avengers, Doctor Strange, several sidekicks, and some really cool bad guys. Some are only on screen for a few seconds or a minute. Others play a larger role. It's really awesome and I didn't feel like it was 'too full'. They didn't do a lot of exposition with the characters, but introductions took a while, but I enjoyed them. There's lots of humor, lots of action, lots of tragedy and sacrifice. It was awesome!

MINOR SPOILER IN THIS PARAGRAPH!
Now, this is a minor spoiler, but I didn't know about this... so if you don't like ANY spoilers at all, you should skip to the next paragraph. I knew that Thanos was the big bad, of course. It's all been building up to this. But I didn't know how devastating the movie was going to be. I wasn't ready for it. I had a hard time wrapping my brain around it, and I'm still struggling with it. For me, the movie feels like Part 1, but it's really not. It's a whole movie. But I just feel disappointed by it, I guess. That's why I had to give it only a 7 when I was expecting a 9.
SPOILER DONE!!

All in all I really enjoyed the movie, though. It gave me the feels and made my heart pump. I was shocked and awed several times. I didn't see any trailers, so I really was opening myself to full impact, and it hit HARD. Some continuity problems and other issues dropped it a few points for me, but it was still really fantastic. MoviePass just changed their service back to seeing a movie only once and it's a good thing for them, cuz I'd have seen it many more times. I still might. It's really good.
