I truly enjoyed this great movie about a terrible movie. It has interesting characters, a good plot, and loads of conflict with good resolution. If you like a good biopic about quirky people, this movie is for you.

The Disaster Artist tells the story of the making of the movie The Room. We've all met those crazy people in our journey through life. Most of us avoid them because they are a train wreck waiting to happen. But some people want to hang on for the ride. This ride is the life of Tommy Wiseau, the creator of the worst "high" production value movie ever made. The acting is bad, the directing is worse, and the writing is probably the worst thing of all. The people around him don't quite understand what they're experiencing, but they go along with it because Wiseau is the one financing it all. They struggle with being around this insane person with no discernable talent or intelligence. But, in the end, they make the masterpiece of awful.

James Franco just nails this movie. I think Dave Franco was poorly cast, but he's still pretty good in it. The passion of Wiseau is infectious and it is really a fascinating story about the making of a terrible movie. The audience can really feel the frustration of the people around Wiseau as they try to make the best of the situation. I think this is a must-watch for people who love crazy characters and a behind-the-scenes look into another world.
