There's really not much to say about the movie. It is a very ordinary thriller with some guys breaking into their house and them trying to defeat them. There weren't any surprises. There wasn't anything really touching about the movie. I feel like it will make some money because it's a mom kicking butt on Mother's Day, but I wasn't very impressed with it.

Breaking In tells the story of a mother that inherits a house from her father and discovers that someone else has decided to rob it. They meet, they fight, and that's the movie. It's PG-13, and you can tell since there are many scenes that you'd expect swearing, but they'd interrupt or hold back. Still, there was a bit of tension in it. It's not a terrible movie, but it takes no chances at all. It's so typical, I'm not sure why it was made. It reminded me of something I'd watch while Bethany was out of town because I know she wouldn't want to watch it.

You probably won't hate this movie, but you probably won't really like it, either. If you need to see it just rent it, I'd say. If you have MoviePass and you like movies like this, it might be worth the 90minutes.
