It's hard to believe that 2019 is coming to a close. It feels like just yesterday Joel, Steve and I were ringing in the new year in Poole, England! Yet here we are, 12 months later, a whole lot of growth and change later, getting ready to ring in another.
As the year draws to a close so, too, does a chapter in our travel blogging career. Don't worry, we'll still be writing and sharing all the exciting (and mundane) updates of our lives and travels. However, we have decided to close down our Patreon account. We are so beyond grateful for everyone who supported us in that way over the last 18 months. You made our travels more exciting and made a lot of things possible for us! We hope you enjoyed your souvenirs and postcards in return.
I know I've hinted a lot on here at what is coming next...and I still can't share any details yet. I know, I'm the worst! I just don't want to jinx anything or make any exciting announcements and then have to take anything back if things fall through. I promise, as soon as our next step is completely sorted I'll be shouting it from the rooftops!
You can also expect a 2019 year in review later this week, as well as a post about what my word will be for 2020. I am enjoying this end of year time of reflection on what has been and hope for what will be. This is always one of my favorites times of the year!
Whether you are glad to see 2019 hit the road or wish it would last forever, I wish you a happy New Year's Eve and many blessings in the New Year. May we all continue to grow into who we are and who God calls us to be.
P.S. The title of this blog post is a reference to one of my favorite book series. Who knows it?!
