Small Steps to Big Changes: Week 31

Reading: 49/52 (+1 for the week) The book I read this week was excellent - it made me cry, but in a good way!

I'm down 2 pounds this week, woohoo! However, it was sobering to realize that this puts me back almost exactly where I was when we left France three months ago (technically still a 1/4 pound higher). That means that I've spent the last 3 months making zero progress. That sucks.

However, that also means I can only do better from here! This week I started doing yoga regularly for the first time since last November. I can already tell a difference in my flexibility and my energy for the day. My goal is to do 15 minutes every day before breakfast, which I did 4 days this week. Let's see how long I can keep a streak going! (Luckily my favorite yoga app keeps track of how often I practice.) 

I've also cut back on the bread (though not cut it out) and upped my veggie intake. I can really tell a difference in how I feel when I feed my body properly. I need to let that motivate me as much as if not more than the weight loss!
