Reading: 46/52 (+1 for the week) This week's book was on nutrition and what we get wrong. It has been eye-opening and highly motivating!

Another pound, gone! Only 6 pounds to go to my pre-USA weight. Considering we've been in Italy and I have had no shortage of bread with olive oil, pizza, pasta, and gelato, I will take it. My saving grace this week has been a ton of walking - we hit over 12,000 steps the day we went to Venice! 

The book I read this week has me convinced about the benefits of going low carb, so I'm going to focus on that once we get settled in Bulgaria. The only tough part is carbs are usually the cheapest foods (think bread, pasta, potatoes) so we'll see how we can combine being budget conscious with being health-conscious. Fingers crossed that produce will be inexpensive at least! 

Also, hiking to waterfalls is in my near future!
