Small Steps to Big Changes: Week 20

Reading: 39/52 (+1 for the week) I ended up skipping the book I couldn't make it through last week, and moved on to a really inspiring memoir about living simply and frugally. I plan to review it soon!

Language: 23270 XP (+0) Part of me wants to remove this category since I'm obviously not working on it right now...but I think I need this little weekly dig at myself so I will get back to it at some point. If I remove it all together it would go out of sight out of mind! 

Weight Loss:

Starting Weight: 266

Current Weight: 227.25

Well I finally seem to have stemmed the gains I've had since leaving France and coming back to the US, and even reversed it by a few pounds! I still need to lose 6 more just to get back to what I was in France, but I'll get there! I've started to be much more mindful of what I eat, and getting back to focusing on at least 5 different kinds of fruits/veggies every day, as well as avoiding carbs as much as possible is helping. 

This little flirtation with eating poorly again has made me realize that I can really feel it in my body when I don't eat right. I've been retaining water, not sleeping as well, and generally had lower energy and I don't like it. That should be all the motivation I need to eat well and fuel my body properly!
