Small Steps to Big Changes: Week 15

Reading: 32/52 (+2 for the week) This week was an easy read novel for my online book club and a study in happiness at home by Gretchen Rubin. Both decent but nothing to write home about (ha!)

Language: 23270 XP (+0) I spoke some French today! We tried to go to church in town and a kind old man told us the church was closed, and I understood him! A small victory, but I'll take it. 

Weight Loss:

Starting Weight: 266
Current Weight: 224.75
Weekly Change: -.25
Total Change: -41.25
First Goal Weight: 180 
Pounds to lose until goal: 44.75

Well, it wasn't a great week. A .25 loss is basically maintaining, but hey, that's better than going the other way! I was all pumped up at the beginning of the week but then got distracted by some homemade mac and cheese, ice cream, a wine and cheese night at a friend's... let's just say it's clear I worked out this week or I definitely would have gained weight. 

We now have an official leave date for France - May 9. Which means it's time to start eating down all the food we have here in the pantry and freezer, and only buying fresh fruits and veggies. That should help keep us on track food wise for the next couple of weeks!

I restarted my protein shakes for lunch today in an effort to work down some of the weight I've gained. I've got a long way to go but your accountability is inspiring! 

Woohoo! I, too, have a long way to go, but we'll get there together! I believe in you! Also, your body created human life so that's, like, amazing.
