Small Steps to Big Changes: Week 2

Welcome to my weekly post where I check in with how I'm doing on some of my goals for the year! Last year I only tracked weight, but this year I wanted to be more well-rounded so I'm tracking my reading and how I'm doing on learning French as well.

Reading: 3/52 (My goal is 52 books aka a book a week for the year. So far I have completed 3!)

Language: 3830 XP on Duolingo (+1400 from last week) & on a 26 day streak!

Weight Loss:

Starting Weight: 266
Current Weight: 239.25
Weekly Change: +1.25
Total Change: -26.75
First Goal Weight: 207
Pounds to lose until goal: 32.25

Okay so technically I am up 1.25 pounds from last week. However, I am not discouraged. We got a new scale this week and there are always variations between scales. I am excited that going forward I will have one scale to weigh in on consistently so as I can more accurately track how I am doing. As far as eating and exercise this week I think I am doing pretty darn great! The dogs keep me walking everyday and the close grocery store means we can by fresh fruit and vegetables a lot easier. I am having fun figuring out how to work them into our daily meals.

It's still probably pushing it to reach my Healthy Wage goal of 207 by February 23rd but I am going to keep working hard no matter what!
