Weight: 17 stone
Greetings from Scotland! Fun discovery this week - our Air BnB here has a scale! It's not a digital one so I question it's accuracy a bit, but it's a way to check in nonetheless. It gives you weight in stone and kilograms, neither of which are measurements we are used to in the states. One stone equals 14 pounds, so according to this scale I'm weighing in at about 238.
On the bright side that's less than I weighed the last time I was able to check in Wales. On the less bright side it's more than I was in Cyprus (by 2 pounds). Also it means I won't be weighing in at 199 by the New Year. Whomp, whomp. But, onward we go.
It's been tough on the road trip to stick to my goals. Steve keeps making us eat yummy stuff like deep fried everything and curry. I am not one to pass up on the local cuisine - I have to try it all! When we settle down again it will be easier to get back to goals, but until then I will try not to backslide completely.
