Thanksgiving was just this past Thursday and it was a really wonderful day. We ate, drank and were very merry! I gotta say I'm glad I didn't have a scale to step onto after the Thanksgiving feast. It's Sunday and we are still eating leftovers - not gonna lie that's one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving!
I can tell from the way my clothes are fitting that I am up a few pounds. I kind of like that I have to pay attention to how I am feeling since I don't have a scale. It's good for me to be more aware of my body and judge it by how I feel and how it's working rather than just by a number.
I have not been drinking enough water lately, and I can really feel a difference in myself. I'll go most of the day without drinking, down a ton at night right before bed, and then sleep poorly because I have to keep getting up to go to the bathroom. It's a really bad habit and I plan to work on breaking it this week. I know that when I drink enough water I feel a lot better throughout the day and sleep better at night.
Other than that I'll keep focusing on intermittent fasting and keeping up with our workout goals of 2 miles walking/100 push-ups/20 minutes yoga a day. It doesn't sound like much but every minute counts!
