Losing the Weight, Finding Myself: Week 15

Ok so the scale moved in the right direction this week.  Granted, only by two tenths of a pound.  Joel never counts the tenths, so for him I'm sure this seems negligible.  But for me, it's a glimmer of hope and progress.  I am coming up on, let's say...a time of the month that usually means I gain weight.  In fact, this morning my my fingers were bloated so much I couldn't get my engagement ring on, just my wedding band.  Knowing this, I expected to see the scale go up a few pounds.  The fact that it went down ever so slightly is very encouraging to me!

I have committed to the teeniest of workout routines for the month of May.  I have promised myself that every single day, no matter what, I will do a one minute plank, and 100 wall push ups (in four 25 each segments).  It's not much, but it's something I can do no matter where I am, no matter what I'm wearing or what the temperature is outside, so I'm doing it.  Every little bit counts, right? 

I'm hoping to see more movement in the right direction next week!
