Healthy in 2018: Week 3 - A rough road

Bethany - 259 and Joel - 268. We're eating better and getting in some minimal exercise. This is an improvement from what we were doing before, but we're still struggling. We went on a couple walks and did about 200 push-ups, but we're still not fully committing to exercising.

Our diet is much better, though, and if this stays our only change, we're likely to slim down by 20lbs or so over the course of the year. But we want more! We're going to exercise every day and do a real workout (over 20mins of sweaty, heart-pounding aerobic exercise) at least three times a week. 

As far as our goals with the FBI testing, we're making some progress. I finished a 1.5 mile run in 15minutes, which is pretty good for the first run of the year, but not nearly good enough. In order to just get 1 point, if you recall, I need to run 1.5 miles in under 12.5 minutes. We also started doing 100 push-ups a day and going on a walk every day (weather permitting). 

For our workouts, I started making a playlist of songs to listen to while working out. I have some fun dance tunes, but I'm curious what you like to listen to when you're working out? Comment or send me a message with your suggestions! And send us good vibes for making this a better week!
