After preaching at Eagle Grove this morning, I returned to Minnesota to join Joel with the Magnuson family. We were all hanging outside, and Oliver, who had been playing in the grass a couple yards away, started crying out, "Bunny! Bunny! Bunny!" At first we thought he saw a rabbit, and then we realized he was calling out my nickname, Aunt Bunny. I rushed over to see what he needed, and found him like this:
The profound thing he needed to tell me - "The sun is in my eyes!" Well, he wasn't wrong. I convinced him to get up and play with me in the shade. I think we need to get this kid some sunglasses!
