This morning at conference was the Ordering Service, aka when people get commissioned or ordained. It was our first year with our new Bishop and while I liked her before, this service made me fall in love. It was beautiful, meaningful, poignant - the Bishop washed the feet of each person who was commissioned and each ordinand. Sarah and I were a bit jealous, wishing our services had been as amazing. And on top of all of that, the service actually done early! No small feat compared to previous years.
After the service we went back to our hotel room to have our PACK meeting. We've been able to meet so infrequently lately, but every time we do get together is worth it. Then back at conference I was able to take this fun picture with Savanna!
This evening there was a meet and greet with the Bishop, so I was able to shake her hand and introduce myself. I doubt she'll remember meet (she met literally hundreds of people!) but it was still nice.
All in all a great day!
XOXO, Bethany
