I am a sucker for themed restaurants. I love just about any theme, as long as the restaurant goes all out. One of my favorite places in The Rainforest Cafe - the food is meh and seriously overpriced, the service usually stinks, but I just LOVE the atmosphere!
So whenever we are on the road and I see a restaurant that looks like it has a fun theme, we have to stop. Today, we saw a sign for a place called the Grumpy Troll - stoppage was pretty much required! We were hungry so we over ordered food, but the fried mac and cheese appetizer was amazing, Joel had a burger topped with a brat and the most amazing sweet potato tots, and I had pasta with a blue cheese alfredo sauce. Blue cheese alfredo sauce. Yum. Also, yes, I just said I loved the sweet potato tots. It's the first time I've loved anything sweet potato in a decade.
We inhaled the food before I could take a picture, but I managed to snag this one of the sign as we were leaving!
Also, on the way in I thought that sign said "Beer, Cheese, Food". Because, clearly, when in Wisconsin, cheese is separate from food.
Also, also, Stephanie's party was a lot of fun and made for a great sales day. I got to introduce several ladies to LuLaRoe, and everyone went home with some new pieces to make them feel comfortable and beautiful! That's what it's all about!
